In March 1998 Bob Roths of the Inkster MI Fire Department along with 12 founding members organized the Axemen MC. This club is exclusive to IAFF firefighters active and retired.
In 2009 members of the Elkhart City Fire Department got together and formed the first Axemen Chapter in the state of Indiana. Since other career fire departments were in the area the members decided to open this chapter up to them and we would all ride together and form the North Central Indiana Axemen MC chapter. The NCI members have been involved in different fundraisers and events throughout the Northern Indiana region.
